Before noon today, I walked four and a half miles in about ninety two minutes on the treadmill while watching “Just Married” on the television in the apartment’s fitness center.

I walked just barely over a mile already this morning.  I intend to walk again this evening.  I posted more about this on my vox blog (http://jen248.vox.com/library/post/first-mile-done.html).

Decision made yesterday changes where daughter dearest and are moving but nothing else so says my boyfriend.

Sunday morning, my boyfriend and I discussed the whole move thing and the stress on my daughter as this isn’t her preferred place to live. We discussed possible solutions and the attached reasons and finally, we both believe, came up with something that will make everyone a bit happy. Everyone will gain something as well as have to give up something - a true compromise.

What this means for me is a new place to look for jobs as well as the driving need to find a place to live for daughter and I now since before, we would have moved in with him.

My baby girl is thirteen today. Happy Birthday sweet daughter of mine!

I’ve been blogging on Vox lately.  Sorry.  I’m seriously not a lazy daisy.  Really.  I’ve been busy with sewing and blogging as well as searching for employment on top of being a homeschooling mom to a tween.  There is a reason that when we master a subject we move forward and don’t repeat the class over and over again.  I so did not enjoy seventh grade the first time.  I am finding that I still don’t care for this grade.  Oh well… I just have to get daughter dearest through the subject matter.  We will complete our first year of homeschooling on the last Friday of May 2009.

Ok, now I’m off.

A lot of things have changed in the past nine years.

I went to the store today to get a sewing machine so that I could sew more bags. Unfortunately, the item I purchased was not inside of the box that was scanned and came home with me.

And so, we returned the item and I inspected the box that eventually came home with us. I unpacked the box and the machine is sitting on the dining table waiting for thread.
